Ubud Bali: Jati 3 Bungalows and Spa

Jati 3 was our home in Ubud. Ubud by the way is one hour drive from the airport that includes traffic. Our Ubud home was located at Monkey Forest Road which is obviously near the famous Monkey Forest mentioned in the Eat Pray Love Book of Gilbert. Aside from that our place is also near shopping boutiques and restaurants. It is 10 - 15 minutes walk to Blanco Museum, Bali Banjar Ubud Kelod, Ubud Palace and Ubud Market. During our first day, we stayed at their Executive Room since the room that we reserved was occupied at that time. The Executive Room had a balcony where you can hear the gushing water from the stream and you can see the backyard filed with trees and plants. - It was very relaxing. Maan and I had main concern though - we're not big fans of frogs. Frogs can be seen outside at the garden, stairs hmmm... just outside of our room. Imagine us running coward every night we escaped from our den. We were like prisoners of war. The Executive Room was the farthest among all rooms. Have you figured out our dilemma?

The second day we were transferred to our room. It was near the pool area (Thank goodness and we had high hopes that frogs don't swim there.), near Reception Area and - Jati's 3 Gate. Good thing, frogs would just came out at night or when it rained. - But it did rain in Ubud one afternoon. We prayed that the walk way will get dry before night time but it didn't. We saw this big frog hiding from the grass - we ran....No frogs can kept us from exploring Ubud. We must experience life in Ubud if frogs were part of it then as the song say Let it Go.
