Quo Vadis
I first heard the word Quo Vadis
during 1st year High School.
It is a Latin word means, "Where are you going?"
I've been travelling all my life. The joys of travelling and being on the road makes my heart leap all the time. Each places you've been, there's a story to tell. It's like opening a box and you do not know what to expect. After you travel you'll realize that ~ It's Magic.
I was not yet a blogger when I posted an entry on Facebook: Ang Bilog ay Hindi lang Gin - Ang Bilog ay Mundo Rin. This was written in Tagalog. It's about what I want to do when I travel and where I want to go. Some of the places, I've already visited like Cambodia where I've seen the Angkor Wat. I've already tasted different KFC chicken in Asia. Until then I discover more places/countries through Magazine, online or through the last place that my friend visited. And I wish to visit that place too. Until the list of places I want to visit become more. ~ I am a captive of the world.
I know you all have different
experience too (or maybe same as mine) during your travel.
These experiences will make you smile when you look back.
You have to own these experiences because it will make you a better you.
It will define you. It will define who you are and who you want to be.

Looking back I've been to a lot of places now. More than the previous post on FB. I got more experiences encountered and more things learned. I fly wire in Dahilayan, Bukidnon, Stayed in a Fisherman's house in Padre Burgos Quezon, Stayed in an Ancestral House in Macau, Tasted Sea Urchin in Magalawa, Swam like a pro in El Nido Palawan, Met Ugu Bigyan in Tiaong, Quezon, Tasted KFCs of Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia and I can tell you how diverse the taste of KFC across Asia. Tasted Lord Stows in Macau, Found Jollibee in Ho Chi Minh, watched basketball league in El Nido. Stayed in a mixed gender/culture dorm in Singapore and Hong Kong. Got lost in Zambales with Nix and Rix. Unexpected delayed return flight to Manila from Siem Reap and no staff of "that airline" could assist us. Hugged an Indian toddler in Singapore, Relaxed in Fitness First Platinum One George Street in Singapore and was able to see the overlooking view of the Marina Bay. Survived the motorcycle patintero in Vietnam, enjoyed the habal habal door to door ride in Caramoan, loved the taste of lato in Coron, trekked to see the Mini Great Wall of Cheung Chau, cried during the fireworks display in Hong Kong Disneyland (haha! I am such an emo), fed school of fish in Coron (very beautiful experience), tasted Nido Soup in El Nido, Ate Inasal in Bacolod, finally, went to Cebu and Bohol, saw the construction of Universal Studios in Singapore, toured the Subterranean River in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, got scared in Siquijor, fell off from the inflatable boat during the Whitewater rafting in Cagayan de Oro, saw Cebu and Bohol aftermath of the earthquake, went to a peryahan in El Nido (i love perya), crossed the sea in Anawangin, Zambales during typhoon, saw the protest in Bangkok, Thailand, transited via train from Bangkok to Aranyaprathet, transited via bus from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur the list goes on...
