Stress Relief: Greenfield Night Market

The week that was was really tough. I was tired from work. I want to travel to free myself from stress but I couldn't. I am still saving for Batanes and Singapore. I also have few plans like enrolling in Anti Gravity Yoga and Nihonggo Class. All I could do is to roam around Manila which is good because I get to know this city more.

I know most of you are just like me. Working at night. Whether you're working in a BPO or Corporate industry it is inevitable that you have your own stressful office stories. How do you cope up with stress? I wonder how.

So last Saturday night, I decided to go out with Jetty. One of my office friends. One of our favorite hang outs is Kapitolyo, Pasig which is just few blocks away from Greenfield District. It's one jeepney ride from my place. Jetty lives nearby. He told me one time he went out to Greenfield District and found the Greenfield Night Market. If you're familiar with Banchetto or Mercato, it has actually the same concept. We went there even when it was raining. He told me one time that there's also Bazaar/Vintage and Art Stores that I could check out.

The Greenfield District has a booming Nightlife. Restaurants and Bars are just around the corner. There were few call centers and businesses around the area. What makes this Night Market different is the location itself. (Although, I could have appreciate it more if it was not raining.) There's an instrumental music played. The big tent was also very appealing. If I am with somebody else it could have been romantic but it was Jetty, so it was more of girl bonding. ;)
I found groups chitchatting, kids running, girls singing. It was cool to be there.

Because it was raining, I decided not to bring out my camera except for the Art photos.
Sorry for the low light result.

Then we found different painting stalls. My eyes were fixed on Joey Agbayani's paintings. The discipline of his art is very different. I do not really take photos of paintings but he allowed us. Thank you Sir! Glad to share it to you all guys. I later learned that He's not just a painter but also a filmmaker.
