PTTA: Travel Expo 2016
I love going to Travel Expos.
Last friday, February 5, I made sure that I'll attend this event. So I filed my vacation leave and went to SMX as early as 5:30am. I went there together with my friends, Irish and Cathy. I have no plans of booking a flight as I have plans of getting brochures and on a look out mode but if there's airfare that's worth buying for then I am open to that. Unfortunately, we have to pass out the deal we were suppose to get for Air Asia. Oh well, better luck next time.
Anyway, Cathy and I stayed until 3pm, we started by 9am by the way, Irish left after lunch. So aside from supposedly buying a ticket to Puerto Princesa. We collected brochures and give aways. I could not missed Korea and Japan they're too generous. I am happy for the magnet that Cathy and I got when we joined Japan's Quiz Bee. We also have our pictures taken at the back drop of Osaka Castle filed with cherry blossom and Thailand's Tuk Tuk. Cathy and I tasted Thailand's delicacy. One thing that I like about attending Travel Expos is how you experience different cultures in one place. I got to see people doing origami. We watched performances of Taekwondo and the sing and dance number from Guam. Hotels and Travel Agencies were at a discounted price too. I was also looking forward to see the Department of Tourism's booth. Their more focused on places in the Philippines that's less touristy but if you have questions about the Philippine Tourism their booth is just so big you can ask anyone from DOT. I enjoyed a lot. As always, I am looking forward for more event just like this. Until next time.
