Ghost of the Christmas Past: First Day SG
The weather was sunny when I arrived in Singapore. It was November 29, 2014. My initial plan was to tour the entire Changi Airport but decided not to as I would like to find the hostel as soon as possible. The airport of Changi is the number one airport in the world. (as of 2014) Changi Airport is one of the place of interest when you visit the country. As, I was saying, I wanted to find Vintage Inn asap because I still have things to do, like going to money changer, I need to know the best and cheaper possible way to Melacca (because I've got lots of options) and I also would like to go to Haw Par Villa. Thanks to Einstein for intruducing me to this attraction.
It was 12nn when I arrived in Vintage Inn. I am not new to Little India though the area is little bit far from where I've stayed before. While I am in Vintage Inn it was raining. I waited for the rain to stop then decided to walk to Mustafa to change my money to Ringgit for my Melacca Tour. While reaching Mustafa Center, it's as if the ghost from the past is hunting me. I remember the first time I went here 4 years ago. After I changed my money I walked to Jelan Besar where I've stayed before then thought of eating in one of the hawkers place Irish and I went to. It was a trip down memory lane. - At that moment, I wished Irish is with me.
I walked going to Kitchener Road where the City Square Mall is located. I was looking for the nearest MRT station and all I could think of is the Farrer Park Station. While walking I passed by Petain Road and saw the beautiful Petain Terraces Houses. It is an ornate of 18 terrace houses influenced by the architecture of European, Malay, Chinese and Indian.
There is also a night bar before Petain Road located along Jalan Besar.
Then I went to City Mall and saw Christmas Tree and different Christmas decorations in front of the mall. I could not helped but smile and took advantage of taking photos of the decor.

Too much for Little India (I will be featuring more of Little India Soon!) Then I went to Haw Par Villa. I was searching for free attractions in Singapore and Einstein gave me a list. Part of the free attractions list is the Haw Par Villa. Yes there is free in Singapore. It was raining, when I went there. I waited for 30 mins and still it was raining until I could not wait any longer.

My proof that it was raining in SG |
As you all know, I am not a mall person but the only place that I know I could go is Orchard Road. Orchard Road is a stretch of different high end malls in Singapore. I was thinking of staying in Ion Orchard maybe stay in a coffee shop or at the food court but the rain stopped when I am in Orchard. Hays! I should've waited for the rain to stop in Haw Par Villa. Anyway, I walked through the street of Orchard and found same malls I saw before. I have no plans of buying as I don't have money to buy stuff in Orchard I was just fascinated by many Christmas Trees and Christmas ornaments. I was even asked to pose with the models of the-brand-that-I-forgot and they asked me to upload my photos in the website that-I-also-forgot. It was some kind of a promotion of something I really do not know. All I care at that time was, I want to have photo of myself in Singapore.

Then a group of youngster approached me while I was walking. They asked me if I am a local of Singapore. I told them that I am a tourist and just arrived that day. They asked me if they could interview me for a local show in Singapore. I was really hesitant, though I am a Mass Comm graduate I am really (believe me!!!) - a shy person.
Then I realized that I was already answering their questions.
If you guys get by any chance to see my face on TV - turn it off really quick!
