Transfer Guide from Singapore to Melacca

The next day I woke up as early as 5 am. I was so excited to visit Melacca. I've been hearing a lot of people asking what's in Melacca? Oh well, we will get to that part later. First, I would like to share the many transfers from Singapore to Melacca. The easiest way is by coach or joining the tour. I do not really want to join the tour or by coach because I'm saving up money for chocolates and noodles as my pasalubong for friends and kids this December. It will cost you less to take bus from Larkin Terminal in Malaysia rather than taking it from Singapore. Plus, I want to experience transfers by public transportation. I would like to live like the locals. I was glad for all the blogs that I've read. These blogs helped me a lot. I am also thankful for Causeway Link - transferring was easy enough because of this yellow buses.
The receptionist from Vintage Inn informed me that it would be better if I take Causeway Link in Newton Circus. She told me that the terminal is just a few blocks away from the MRT. From Newton Circus I have to ride a bus (yellow bus or Causeway Link CW5) going to Melaka Sentral (Terminal). It will be another 3 hour ride. Do not be mistaken, once you're done in Woodlands for your exit to Singapore you need to ride another Causeway Link bus going to JB Sentral for your entry to Malaysia. Do not forget to fill out the form for your entry. This is really a long walk. After the Immigration to Malaysia look for the yellow bus (CW5) again. Also, to remind you that the bus will not wait for you, there are a lot of yellow buses that will pass from one point to another. You just have to wait for that yellow bus again - better to ask if you're already on doubt.

The traffic was heavy it was 7am. I realized that it was already rush hour and people from Singapore are already travelling for work in Johor Bahru. They were so fast, thinking that I am already tired from this process for a day and yet, they're doing this everyday. I am so blessed for the free shuttle service provided at work.

Then I arrived at Larkin Terminal. I am a little bit scared from all the feedback I got. I know I have to secure my belongings. Let's all be honest it is more secure in Singapore than Malaysia but Malaysia has something to offer that I could not resist not to visit. Because I am not sure what bus to take, I asked a man about buses going to Melacca he told me "10%" then I backed out and looked for the different booths aligned the pathway and saw Causeway Link. Since I am comfortable with Causeway Link might as well, take their bus going to Melacca. The woman provided me with the platform number and handover my ticket. I waited at Dunkin Donuts.

From Melaka Sentral I needed to ride a Panorama Bus # 17 going to Dutch Square it is also called Christ Church but is more famous for Square.

The transfer from Malaysia is almost the same however, part of my itinerary is to visit Hello Kitty Land because I am a Hello Kitty Fan. Going back to Melaka Sentral, you have to search for the bus stop at the end of Jonker Street. There is only one bus stop with the waiting shed that has long chair. Look for the Tamil Methodist Church at the end of Jonker Walk then turn left cross the street. I read from one of the blogs that if you wait for the bus at Christ Church or Square, it will take you one hour because it is a one way street.

I was standing inside the Panorama bus though. I am glad that it arrived soon. It was only less than an hour to Melaka Sentral then I searched for Causeway Link booth again going to Larkin Terminal.

It was raining in Malaysia while the bus travels to Larkin Terminal. I slept.

From Larkin Terminal I went to Causeway Link booth because it is the only bus that serves to Hello Kitty Land and Legoland. After Hello Kitty Land you may take the bus going to JB Sentral. From JB Sentral take another Causeway Link bus to Singapore.
