Travel Diary, Ilocos: Pagudpud's Casa Consuelo

Pagudpud is considered as the Boracay of the North. I am not sure why a lot of people keep on comparing this beach to Boracay. I remember when I was younger and I go to the beach often, I would sometimes compare beaches but as you outgrow traveling, you will realize that each one of these beach is uniquely beautiful. Just like the mountains nor the streets. 

You know guys, how much I am into diversity that I also applied that to nature. 

Although, I am proud to say that I will never trade Philippine shores not because it's more beautiful here but I considered Philippine shores as our own and I am very comfortable lying around any where unlike else where out of the country. I am still considering going to Okinawa though. Hihi! Bagtit!

Pagudpud. To be honest, more than my stay here in Pagudpud, the highlight of my travel here was the Bangui Windmills that I saw coming to this area. I do not have a picture though. My Bad! My stay in Pagudpud was like a rest from all the familiarity that I have experienced in Paoay and my wanted luxury out of Manila. 

This place is so unfamiliar that waking up in the morning with the sunrise and the beach waiting is a breath. I always love the sound of the ocean that I could not trade it to all other sounds not even music.

I told you, I was supposed to stay here with my mom. Anyway, it was just overnight. I was glad I found Casa Consuelo which became my home for a night. Casa Consuelo is located at the farthest side of Blue Lagoon stretch which is fine with me. 

Dos Hermanos Islands

Casa Consuelo is near Dos Hermanos Islands which is one of the famous attractions in Blue Lagoon. Dos Hermanos are two twin rock formations and I was been told that it's place for snorkeling. And because I am alone - I am sorry but I am scared too and I did not go there. Haha!!! If you'll get a chance to go here, just send me a message that you conquered the place. Viewing Dos Hermanos Islands from afar is just alright. It's beautiful from my pov. Let's keep it at that level.

That's all for my Pagudpud Adventure. I know a lot of you have been to Pagudpud and been to different attractions nearby. I am not really worried not invading other attractions since Paoay is just near Pagudpud and I am seeing myself "really" exploring Ilocos. (maybe more than any other places in the Philippines) So some day one day you will see me posting more of Ilocos and other provinces near by. See you all here!
