Filipino Postcards For My Students

I was looking for postcards to be sent to my students in Korea. I remember mentioning before that I was teaching in Vietnam. But since the pandemic and I came back to the Philippines, I decided to do online classes to thrive.

It has been more than two years that I have been working for Ms. Sophie, whom I've met during their visit here to Manila. I taught her kids for a month and she decided to put up an online English tutorial business during the pandemic and she contacted me at that time.

I've always wanted to send postcards to my students (even my Vietnamese students). Since I am a postcrosser and a highbrow person, who incorporates culture to communicate and teach, I am planning to send them pictures and stuff that are Philippine-made.

Most of them are from primary to middle schools. So, I am thinking that my primary students might appreciate the colorful pictures. My middle school students are into culture, so maybe anything about the Philippines would be okay for them. Anyway, I might be sending it in an envelope together with other things that aren't bulky.

So, I stumbled upon Pepot Art. I contacted him immediately and asked if he was selling postcards. He answered yes. I sent him messages from FB and email. He informed me of his Shoppee account and posted on his page at that time that it was available. He's nice like I am chatting with someone I've known from childhood.

I am picky when it comes to art. I know what I want and I buy only the things that I like. And I like his craft. The colors and Filipino culture - everything is there. And that is all that I need.

Pepot Atienza or known as Pepot Art is a diorama artist who is based in Quezon Province.
I am including his details if like me, you're captured by his creations.
