Bali, Indonesia: Kuta Beach

How can you not love Bali, I almost have everything.

I am a beach person as you all know. I like how my skin would complement the beach whether it rained or whether it's summer.
To be in Bali was just like - I am so lucky I went there. Wohooooooooooo!!!!

Since we were in Bali, we cannot escape the beach scene. After 4 days and 3 nights in Ubud. We travel 2 hours to the other part of Bali to beach bum for another 4 days and 3 nights.
I selected Kuta Beach since it was near the Discovery Shopping Mall and the newly opened Lippon Mall. Plus, Kuta beach was a 10 minute travel time to the airport by cab so I think it was a wise decision to end the Bali trip in Kuta.  By the way, the long stretch also includes, Seminyak and Legian whichever you chose to stay would be fine.

We stayed in Hotel Karthi, it was less than 10 minute walk to the beach.

Beach Scene:
Before I went to Bali, I remember posting pictures of my trip in San Juan, La Union which is the Surfing capital of Luzon, in the Philippines. In La Union, the surfers were more of newbies and still learning to surf or practicing. La Union is like a school of surfers.
The surfers in Bali were more expert in their field which I completely understand because the waves of Bali were very high. (We we're actually advised not to swim.) Watching them were like watching a circus. Some would do somersault which is not advisable if you're new. They were fun to watch.

Her tattoo was a distraction.
I knew I will regret, if I didn't capture it.
So I asked for her permission.
And she said Ok. :)
I told her it was beautiful.

This surf board from Hawaii, reminded me of my Ate (Older Sister) and her family
who's now living in HI.
Thanks Maan for the pic.

This made me laugh out loud

One shot I captured when this surfer did his acrobatic movement.
