Ubud, Bali

I found Ubud as one of the places that you need to visit in Bali, Indonesia. It is the center of Arts and Culture. Ubud's town is an Art Gallery itself. You'll know that you are in Ubud when you see paintings along the streets. Stay there for more than a day and get to experience Balinese Tradition.

These Kids Rock!

Famous for relaxation. Bring home scrubs and oils made in Ubud. There's lots of stores like this.

The statues are all over the places. They would put flowers in between ears as their offering to the gods. You'll also see statues with checkered black and white umbrella or piece of cloth wrapped around the waist.

Gallery along Monkey Forest Road.

Motorcycles and Bicycles are the best mode of transportation. If not, you may hire a car. Short distance would just cost you 50000 IDR not bad if you're in a group. Walking is also a must. Ubud is just a small town and you'll get to discover a lot of good stuff when you walk your way.

They used this for tours.

KECAK AND FIRE DANCES
Kecak and Fire Dances can be seen to different parts of Bali. One famous Kecak Dances is located in Uluwatu but we got to experience the one in Ubud.
Kecak is a ritual performed through Balinese Dance with Monkey Chants.

People from Bali gave their contribution by creating their offerings during their free time. It is a part of the tradition that luckily we got to experience and see during our stay in Bali.

And I asked her, "What is this called?" She answered back "Mandala"
I've been encountering Mandala in Yoga but honestly I did not know what it is and I didn't even attempted to Google it.
so I asked her, What is Mandala?
She smiled and said, "That's Mandala."
According to Wikepedia, In common use, mandala has become a generic term for any plan, chart or geometric pattern that represents the cosmosmetaphysically or symbolically; a microcosm of the universe
It is a spiritual and ritual symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism.

So if you'll ask me what Mandala is, I now know the answer based on what I read and saw through Wikepedia, Google and Yoga.
For me, Mandala is Balance, Alignment.
