Throwback Ho Chi Minh: Jollibee Vietnam

I was checking my photos and saw these. It was back in 2010 and it's really worth blogging.

I am a Filipino traveller. Whenever, I travel out of the country I always search for Filipino landmarks or anything concerning about Philippines or Filipinos. And so in Ho Chi Minh, we found the biggest Filipino Bee - Jollibee. I listed Jollibee's address in Ho Chi Minh, oh well, there's actually a lot of Jollibee in Vietnam. The closest to our area was the one in Paterson Street. It was near the Reunification Palace. When we saw Jollibee statue we hugged it. To be in a different land, will let you embrace who you are and at that point we we're embracing to be a Filipino. We were greeted by a Vietnamese crew - She said - Mabuhay! We responded Mabuhay as well. So she asked if we were Filipinos. We said yes. The Vietnamese crew became our facebook friend, I remember how we chatted, she was really accomodating.
The Jollibee Vietnam was almost the same in the Philippines. Jollibee mascot in front of the building. The crew's uniform are the same. Chairs and tables. Photos. Labels. Though you will know that you're in Vietnam because of the language written. The choices of foods were actually the same although there were few additions to the menu that would also pass the taste of Vietnamese, I doubt if the taste of foods would be the same. One thing that I believed in, is that in every food chain in different countries, there's always that distinct taste - You must try all. I tried the Curry Chicken - because it was actually not in the list in Jollibee Philippines. I forgot what my friends ordered, as this was back in 2010. Hehe! We were Bee Happy that we found you Jollibee!
