Bohol's Rio Verde and Ati Tribe
Rio Verde
Since we were following Kuya Eric's lead. Instead of taking Loboc River Cruise, we went directly to Loay for Rio Verde Floating Resto. It is almost the same concept as the Loboc River Cruise but Rio Verde became more popular now after the Earthquake. The cruise will direct you to Ati Tribe. It will sail along the Loay - Loboc River. You will be amaze with the water's pristine jade color as it would compliment with the palm trees around.
There's also a native Boholano who entertains us while cruising. He sang with his guitar while people savor the foods. The resto is a buffet type and foods were all Filipino cuisine.
Ati Tribe
The Ati Tribe are the aboriginals of the Philippines. The tribe resides in Central Visayas. They're considered as Negritos and related to the Aetas of Luzon. They are the attractions of the Ati Atihan Festivals in Aklan and can be found here when you take the Rio Verde Tour.
Some of the Atis that we saw were already mixed. When you enter their territory they will welcome you with dance and will come to you showing their arrows and little iguanas.
I was happy to see this crab this crab maybe related to the turtle I saw in Bali both of the same size.
One of the Ati told me that this man is the original Ati.
