Culture, Little India: House of Tan Teng Niah and Sri Veeramakaliamman
Little India in Singapore has a charm of it's own. I stayed in Little India back in 2010 but I never thought that there were still few places that I've never been to. Little India never fail to impress me with many colors and rich culture this place has a special place in my heart - one of the reasons why I love Singapore.
House of Tan Teng Niah
The oldest house in Little India and probably the most colorful house in Singapore is the House of Tan Teng Niah, a Chinese businessman. Situated near Little India MRT station, you'll be able to find this place.
Sri Veeramakaliamman
Located in Serangoon Road. Sheena and I were fortunate that this temple was open when we pass by. During my first day of stay it was closed. This is one important Hindu temple in Little India. It caters to Indians who now lived in Singapore.
