The Abstract of Doutonburi, Osaka
Shin Sai Bashi is the shopping center next to Doutonburi.
Below is the arch of Doutonburi.
Osaka is known as the culinary center of Japan. Doutonburi in particular is the epi center of it all. It took Cathy and I to explore this place for a day and we did not know what happened. She told me that we need to eat more so that we won't spend too much in shopping but no do not believe us. When we found the cheapest Anello we could not help ourselves to buy plus the Don Quijote Store that's famous for it's low price and tax free we grabbed every opportunity. It was a time well spent and I think money was well spent too.
The man famous in Doutonburi is Kuidaore Taro.
If you see this mechanical clown in Doutonburi, have your pictures taken with him as he is the icon of this street.
This is my favorite street. As you all know, I've been traveling for street arts. What I like about Doutonburi is not just the food itself but how art is presented when you walk it's street. I went here during the day and was supposed to go at night but it was raining most of the time. I bet it's more beautifil when neon lights lit up. I know foodies are not the only one who will love this place. This is a good place for photo walk too.
GYOZA all caps.
The crab is also one of the famous landmarks in Doutonburi.
That's Don Quijote.
Glicoman photo op is a must, as they say.
Dotonburi/Dotomburi/Doutonburi.

More about food for my next entry.
