The Fanatic: Sanrio Hello Kitty House in Bangkok

I've visited numerous Hello Kitty cafes and restaurants from different countries and one reason why I am pushing myself to go to Bangkok was because of this. I was supposed to join Allie and Marnie when they had a trip to Phuket and Bangkok last time and I've included in their itinerary to dine in Hello Kitty Cafe. I know it's not their favorite it's mine but they still went to the cafe and yeah I was that envious. As you all know I love Hello Kitty and I know that a lot of kikay girls would love to read my blog because of Hello Kitty. I've been to Taipei, South Korea, Hong Kong and Japan to see "her". She is just like me - adorable. (Haha!)

After my sister, Kulet, treated me to Good Day Hello Kitty Restaurant in Taipei whenever I go to different Hello Kitty cafes and restaurants I would normally treat my friend/friends who I am with but that depends on the price too. Like for example in Japan where there is the Hello Kitty Tea House and as you all know, Japan is expensive Cathy and I ended up eating the parfait. In Hong Kong, I went to Hello Kitty Dim Sum Restaurant where I dined with three of friends: Arvie, Ate Cita and Mitch and since it is costly, Mitch who is also a Hello Kitty fan shared the expenses with me. In Korea's Hello Kitty Cafe I had a great time with Sheena though the cafe was a little bit secluded we searched and I was fulfilled when I found it. It was crazy but you know sharing the experience with your close girl friends would make the trip to these cafes and that country more remarkable. (at least for Hello Kitty fanatics.)

So it was Madhel who became my companion in Bangkok and we dine in Hello Kitty cafe.
It was a normal cafe. The one here is better as compared to that cafe in Taipei. (yep, only in Taiwan.) They offered cakes and what's different from this cafe is that they have milk tea included in their menu which is a staple drink in Bangkok. It was actually good.

For now, here is my treat for you.

It was a long walk from our place on Pratunam to Siam Square but finding it was like a jewel. Along the way we found different buildings, stores and events. It was fun. I am not really sure with Madhs though. Haha! I hope she really enjoyed the walk.

You should be able to see the front of the cafe from the picture above and the picture below.

And here are our choices of food and drinks.
Madhs ordered Rainbow Crepe Cake. I chose Chocolate Tart. We both chose Thai Milk tea for our drinks. Enough for our dinner that night.

I like the milk tea it's the same milk tea that's served in Thailand.
Here's more of what you will see inside the Hello Kitty House.

The house has a spa, cafe and store where you can buy different Sanrio merchandise. We did not try the spa because...nothing we're not really up to it. So if you ever visit this place and you may want to consider experiencing their beauty spa. Feel free to do so. I know my little kitty girl would love that. :)

I am just happy to experience Hello Kitty House in Bangkok. For sure when I go back to Manila you will see me in Hello Kitty in BGC. Until next time guys, See you around.
