Our Full House: Bong House

We arrive late. It was 2 am. Aside from our flight got delayed we have to take a cab from Seoul Station to our place. It was hard for the taxi driver to locate Bong House even if they're using GPS, it was also hard to communicate even if we have the map and translation and have them read it - IT JUST DID NOT WORK. We're not really sure where the area is as far as I know it's near Insadong. We tried our luck and luckily the 2nd driver knew our place. When he drop us off he told us we just have to search for our accommodation, it is somewhere in the area. It was late and it was cold but this place already amazes us. You know that feeling that you are part of Koreanovela we just could not believe that we're here. Oh my Seoul, you already captured my heart. Too much for that.

So we kept on asking and people will extend their help by communicating with you even if they're not really good with English. They will let you feel that they're really willing to help. (It happened to us most of the time.) so we found our place safely. The door was open and there was no receptionist. It was 2 o clock and what do you expect?

We found a note at their lobby. Here's what it says:

Because we were tired and sleepy and we just want to rest, we assume that it was for us. We followed the instruction and found our small room. In the next 7 days this is going to be our home in Korea.

In the morning we checked in and found out that Angelica is from the Philippines. It was comforting to see that she's one of our kababayan and it made us feel more at home.
