The 5 Grand Palaces of South Korea: Deoksugung Palace, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Jongmyo Shrine, Changgyeonggung Palace and Changdeokgung Palace
There are 5 Grand Palaces in Seoul. These palaces were built during the Joseon dynasty. Most of the palaces were destroyed during the Japanese occupation and was restored later on.
Aside from the palaces we were crazy taking photos of the trees. The palaces look more beautiful with the trees blending colors. Every palaces varies and you should discover each palaces' charm.

The main palace and considered as the largest among the 5. Within the area you will also see the National Museum of Korea, National Folk Museum and Children's Museum.

Among the 5 Palaces this one is my favorite.
Listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site in 1995. This palace should not be missed during winter when the snow covered the entire place and the palace stands out.

Among the 5 palaces this one is the nearest to our place. However, when we went to this palace it was raining and we do not have any umbrella. The good thing about that was there's few people inside the palace hmm... or just Sheena and I... and few birds.

It became a part of UNESCO World Heritage List in 1997. One of the palaces that you should go to. The secret garden should be seen.
