Pasig Food Trip: Kainan ni Augusto

*Last Updated August 26, 2017. This "kainan" already changed their name. I haven't tried the new "kainan" and I am not sure if the service is the same. 

It was Thursday Morning when I needed to go to Ortigas and I have to stay for a couple of hours to wait for the government's office opening time. I decided to have breakfast. I asked Jetty if he wants to accompany me but he needs to get home early. I asked Ie since we have the same shift and we both work in the same vicinity and she said yes. I was thinking of trying to eat breakfast at Kanto Freestyle in Kapitolyo but while walking I told Ie about this resto with a lot of antiques and has a vintage vibe and serves like Carinderia style. We checked out the place. 

Kainan ni Augusto is easy to find because their location is just located along United Street and West Capitolyo. They're open as early as 7am. There's no customer yet when we came in and we decided to wait for more options of viands. While waiting "Ate" told us that we could take photos inside. 

"Kuya Guard" lights up the entire area and we were like a child surprised by what this Carindera could visually offer us. We were more than amazed. They say that Kainan ni Augusto is where Cafe Juanita started. That is not a surprise because of the antiques and everything vintage.
