Quezon City Food Festival 2014: Maginhawa Street

I've been enjoying food crawling lately, I went to Maginhawa Street with Irish to Celebrate Quezon City's Diamond Jubilee Anniversary and one of the event's highlight was The Maginhawa Street's Food Festival. Maginhawa Street has been famous because of too many to mention hole in the walls. The area was far from me so it's really hard to visit Maginhawa during ordinary days but to be in the Food Festival is another story. Food Stalls were set up outside. Food Truck were parked. There's a lot of people walking. People eating everywhere. Restaurants all filled. We dined at Pares Grill for heavy meal then at Brazo thinking that we could eat sweets but ended up with a pasta plate and potato wedges. Ie arrived when we were in Brazo. As early as 8pm some restaurants started to close because of lack of supplies. We decided to take photos of each restaurant's beautiful interiors as we search on where to eat next. This time Irish and I were craving for sweets. Waited for the long queue at The Breakfast Table and since there's no cakes/sweets we tried their coffee and Ie ate her main course.

Stage was set up at the middle of the street. Street Party. Street Concert. Fireworks. Road closed. It was a happy day. Cheers to Quezon City!

I will be back. See you again Maginhawa.
